Phil & Sebastian Coffee Roasters
From their humble beginnings at the Calgary Farmers’ Market, Phil & Sebastian have been embraced by Calgarians citywide. They’ve built solid relationships with select coffee growers to bring the beans to town, roast them, bring them to their three cafés to be prepared by trained and educated staff and sell them wholesale through their sister company 15 Kilo.
Farm & Janice Beaton Fine Cheese
The name Janice Beaton is well known around Calgary – first a high quality artisanal cheese shop, then Caffe Beano, a straightforward coffee shop and since 2008 a small restaurant on busy 17th Avenue. The coffee shop and restaurant are side by side and the cheese shop is at the back of the restaurant and all three are committed to Alberta product.

Owner, Brad Churchill, works directly with cocoa producers to bring the beans to Calgary and is in control of every step of the process, ensuring you get the freshest truffles made to your specifications.
Libertine – Free Weekly Pig Roast
Calgary is no longer just a steak and potatoes kind of joint – the new favourite meat has to be everything pig and right smack in the middle of downtown is a pub that showcases Alberta pork by giving it away free every Wednesday.
