Calgary 2012 wrap-up

A REASON TO CELEBRATE: Hundreds came out to the Calgary 2012 Wrap Party held at the BMO Centre. They laughed. They celebrated. A few tears were shed. But the message of the night was clear, Calgary’s year as the cultural capital of Canada is over but this is only the beginning. Our city is a vibrant amazing cultural hub and it’s only going to get better.

This past year Calgary 2012 gave out roughly 400 grants totaling more than $2 million. Recipients included musicians, theatre professionals and visual artists who produced hundreds of awesome projects and events during the past year.
