Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary is a non-profit charitable organization that is committed to the rescue and education of wolfdogs, as well as the education and conservation of wild wolves. The sanctuary is situated on 160 acres of scenic foothills located east of the Rocky Mountains near Cochrane, Alberta.

The GUIDED TOURS allow visitors a unique hands-on experience with our various packs of wolfdogs. This is a great opportunity to learn the key differences between wolves and dogs, and dispel some of the many myths surrounding these magnificent animals.

The SELF GUIDED TOURS offer a very natural interpretive walk through the sanctuary allowing visitors to see our various enclosures and the packs that reside within them. It is a great opportunity to learn interesting facts about wolves and wolfdogs and explore the sanctuary at your own pace.
