Glenbow Museum and Corb Lund, Alberta’s hottest, “hurtinist” musical icon, proudly unveil No Roads Here: Corb Lund’s Alberta. This expressive exhibition is inspired by Corb Lund’s music and is his personal exploration of Alberta themes that are roped to his own charismatic family’s ranching history in our province.
No Roads Here: Corb Lund’s Alberta is drawn from Glenbow’s, and Corb’s own family’s, collection of art, artifacts and historical imagery. The exhibition is themed to nine songs from four of his well-loved albums, songs that best represent Corb’s unforgettable sonic storytelling and musical artistry. Like Corb’s music, the exhibition is a vivid mix of the innovative and traditional.
The nine songs that inspired the exhibition are:
No Roads Here (Five Dollar Bill)
Brother Brigham, Brother Young (Horse Soldier! Horse Soldier!)
Five-Dollar Bill (Five Dollar Bill)
Buckin’ Horse Rider (Five Dollar Bill)
