Since 1928, Sunshine Village Ski & Snowboard Resort has been serving up endless mountain terrain in the heart of an unspoiled wilderness.

Wide open slopes, abundant snowfall, and a village alive with spirit – all within Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies. Sunshine Village is renowned for its lengthy season from mid-November until late May, and for its record breaking champagne powder.

Just an hour and a half from Calgary and 15 minutes from the resort town of Banff, Sunshine Village offers more than 3,300 acres of skiable area stretching over three mountains, and two provinces. Its unique village location on the Continental Divide at 2,200 metre (7,200 feet) ensures that it has champagne powder conditions all season long- right up until the end of May. Sunshine’s 107 marked runs and 12 lifts provide an outstanding amount of terrain that can accommodate any ability level- from the experts that enjoy the extreme difficulty of our world famous double blacks like Delirium Dive or the total beginners that learn on our magic carpets, Sunshine Village truly has a run for everyone.

The Sunshine Mountain Lodge, located in at the top of the gondola, is the ONLY true ski-in, ski-out hotel in the Canadian Rockies. This newly refurbished lodge offers casual and fine dining, the area’s largest outdoor hot pool, spa services, and family friendly activities.
